Creating distance

In ‘The World of Sofie’, Matteo Simoni now looks back on the shooting of the film ‘Zillion’. “I didn’t sleep for nights wondering if I should do that,” he said. And Matteo also responded to the commotion in an earlier interview with ‘HLN Showbits’. “I tried to play that with all the love and all the frivolity and all the danger,” the ‘Zillion’ actor explained at the time. “I took a fairly neutral position in that discussion, but I am very happy that I was able to be part of this film. I would do it again in a heartbeat.”

Whether the actor would once again step into the shoes of the much-discussed porn producer after the new conviction of Dennis Black Magic is another question. “I do not support the person he is today,” he continued on Radio 1. “Director Robin Pront and I have always tried to create a certain distance. But I might think twice about doing it again.”
