Apple will hold a new event next Tuesday, May 7, where new iPads will most likely be launched. In addition to an update of the iPad Air, a brand new iPad Pro would also be unveiled. And it could be a real game changer, with a revolutionary M4 chip and groundbreaking AI capabilities.
According to Mark Gurman, Apple expert at Bloomberg, the new iPad Pro will be the first to get the brand new M4 chip. This chip would not only be a lot faster than its predecessors, but also introduce AI capabilities that we have not yet seen on an Apple device.

Gurman believes Apple wants to position the iPad Pro as the first “truly AI-powered device.” This would mean that Apple will integrate AI into all its new products in the future. “From then on, it will advertise every new product as an AI device,” says Gurman.
The M4 chip would also be found in the new iMac, MacBook Pros and Mac minis later this year.
A major upgrade
In addition to the new chip, the new iPad Pro would receive several other upgrades. For example, there is talk of a larger display, improved cameras and a thinner housing.
The exact specifications and price of the new iPad Pro are not yet known. But if the rumors are true, it promises to be a groundbreaking device that sets the bar high for future tablets.
