Snapchat users will soon be able to edit messages that have already been sent. This is possible up to five minutes after the message has been sent and only if the conversation partner has not yet responded. The new feature is coming first to Snapchat+ subscribers.

The app will also have an option to use artificial intelligence to create reminders from a conversation. Sending a message to My AI will create a reminder and a countdown clock within the app, the company said in an announcement.

Anyone who uses Bitmoji can now design their own digital clothing for their BItmoji. Snapchat uses artificial intelligence for this. In addition, AI is used for more Lenses. For example, a Lens has appeared that takes a Polaroid-like photo in the style of the 90s.

Users will also have more options to respond to friends. This makes it possible to respond to messages in chats with emoji. Previously this was only possible with Bitmoji. Anyone who shares their location with friends can now also respond to the map when a friend is nearby. In that case, it is possible to use emoji to indicate that someone is waving or to send a heart.
