Seven years after saying goodbye, Magnus returns. The side project of dEUS frontman Tom Barman (52) and CJ Bolland (52) is one of the latest additions to the Live Is Live bill.

With dEUS, Tom Barman played at the first edition of Live Is Live in 2022, then in Zeebrugge, and last year the band itself curated a festival day on Linkeroever. This time Barman is there again, but with Magnus.

His dance project with DJ, producer and friend CJ Bolland ended in 2017, but recently announced a comeback for the twentieth anniversary of their debut record The body gave you everything. “We are re-releasing the album, supplemented with live recordings and remixes, and will also play DJ sets at festivals,” Barman said at the time.

At Live Is Live, Magnus plays on the smaller, intimate Dageraad stage. This also includes Iskander Moon, Gavin James and Emmy D’Arc. Absynthe Minded takes the last free spot on the main stage. This completes the Live Is Live 2024 bill. The festival takes place on June 28, 29 and 30. Tickets can be purchased here. (DVG)
