Only four finalists remain in ‘The Voice ‘. That’s Kobe for team Koen Wauters Laurens for team Mathieu Terryn and Christophe and Lucas for team Laura Tesoro .
Regardless of the final result, the latter has already had a successful edition. Her candidates have gone very far and she can look back with satisfaction.
In a conversation with Primo she says that she has forgotten her role at ‘The Voice ‘ still enjoys recording after all these years. “It’s fun to work with people and bring out the best version of themselves,” he says. “Sometimes we can help candidates grow to the point where they do things that exceed their own expectations.”
However, there is also a less pleasant side to the job of coach: you regularly have to disappoint candidates. “That is the least enjoyable part of the assignment,” says Laura. But she realizes that honesty is the best policy.
“I hope people don’t take it too seriously. It is and remains a competition, so there are winners and losers. It’s not nice to disappoint people, but the candidates know that when they start.”
