Brussels Airlines unveils new Amare

--

Brussels, April 25, 2024 – Brussels Airlines and Tomorrowland proudly present “Amare”, the newest Belgian Icon. Amare stands for unity of people all over the world. The brand new Airbus A320neo has an augmented reality paint scheme, which is a world first. Both partners are also making extra efforts to make the Tomorrowland flights more sustainable.

The new livery was presented to media, employees and guests during an event in the Brussels Airlines hangar. The new Belgian Icon is a tribute to the world-famous Tomorrowland festival and is a new showpiece of the Belgitude of Brussels Airlines, where the airline brings the world to Belgium but also shows the best of Belgium to the world.

The design is a world first: Amare is the first aircraft with augmented reality in its paintwork. The magical creature on the plane comes to life when scanned on some social media channels such as Instagram and Tiktok. This application allows the People of Tomorrow to see even more vividly the story of unity that transcends time and space.

The entire design phase took a total of 15 months, with a lot of attention to detail: such as the feathers of the bird or the fireworks that transition into the Brussels Airlines logo. The Tomorrowland experience is also extended into the plane, with an impressive sound system and special mood lighting.
