Van Avermaet ready and clear for Visma-Lease a Bike: “Van Aert deserves that”

Wout van Aert would normally be at the start of the Giro. It would be the first part of his preparation for the Olympic Games, where he would mainly be able to ride two time trials. So that won’t happen.

There is also an increasing question mark behind the altitude training during the Tour. Visma-Lease a Bike may not be able to count on Jonas Vingegaard and then Van Aert could ride the Tour as he planned for the Giro.

Tour ideal preparation for Van Aert?
