Porn baron with Russian connections is behind deepfake porn videos of Karen Damen and other acquaintances

The identity of the person behind the manipulated porn images of dozens of famous Flemish people is said to be known. According to research, it concerns a “brilliant” computer geek who has been leaving harmful traces on the internet for years. The person in question also has connections with controversial Russian internet security guards.

The victims include Dutch artists, TV presenters, athletes, politicians and even members of the Dutch royal family. Well-known Flemish people such as Karen Damen and Angèle have also had to deal with fake porn videos. In 2023, more than 100,000 deepfake porn videos were created and uploaded.

Misusing someone’s portrait to create deepfake porn images is punishable and falls under revenge porn. Several victims filed complaints against the then unknown porn baron.

Jack V.

After a major digital trace investigation, the Sidenty investigation agency can confirm that it is Jack V., a man from Toronto, Canada. In a written response to AD, the Canadian says that he has sold the site on which the images are distributed to a party he does not know. However, according to various cyber specialists, there is no evidence of this.
