Anmor Accessories opens second branch in Lier: “Total concept in the field of accessories” (Lier)

“We have a store in Antwerp, which we opened seven years ago,” says manager Angelo Moretti with a smile. “Two years ago we moved to a larger building. The intention was always to expand, but then one crisis after another came along. Now we were like ‘good, we are ready.’” That is why Anmor Accesoires is expanding with not one, but two stores, in Lier and Brasschaat.

Passion

With a keen eye for opportunities and a passion for fashion, Angelo has his eye on Lier as the next location for Anmor Accessories. “There are plenty of beautiful cities in the province of Antwerp. This property came our way and we immediately thought ‘the location is good and the property is ideal’. The choice was quickly made.”

The new store in Lier will not only offer a wide range of handbags and jewelry, but also its own collection Angelo Moretti Jewelry, which has been a success in Belgium and the Netherlands since 2020. “You can find them in 150 sales points,” notes Angelo. “The collections are mainly made of resin and acetate and really follow fashion,” he says. “I draw everything myself in our office in Antwerp. The jewelry is then made by hand in Italy.”

Retail

With more than 20 years of experience in retail, Angelo understands the essence of accessories in an outfit. “I have always had a love for accessories. There is often an emphasis on clothing and accessories follow behind. But it is often the accessories that make an outfit.”

Anmor Accessories stands out for its unique offering, ranging from statement jewelry to small, refined pieces, as well as a wide range of handbags and hair accessories. “Everyone is welcome with us, whether you are looking for a pair of earrings for 10 euros or a handbag for 100 euros,” Angelo emphasizes. “I believe that looking good should not depend on your budget. We are a store for everyone, whether you are 16 years old or 99 years old.”

“The range is being adjusted very quickly. Every month we have something new and we respond to the latest fashion trends,” Moretti explains. “On the one hand, we are there for the stylish woman who comes to buy her handbag here, but also for the young girl who is buying a pair of earrings for herself for the first time.”

E-mail

The name Anmor Accessories, was inspired by Angelo’s email alias from the past. “Anmor was actually the abbreviation of my email address. I heard it so often that I thought it was a very logical name for the business. People have to think about it and that’s how they remember it,” he says with a wink.

Anmor is a good addition to the current retail landscape in Lier. “I don’t think there is a total concept like ours yet. We already have many Lieren residents who come to shop in Antwerp, so they are also happy that we now have a branch in Lier,” says Angelo.

With the festive opening on Saturday, April 27, Angelo promises a warm welcome for all visitors. “There will be snacks and drinks and we’ll do one too giveaway. Every customer who buys something receives a nice gift from us.” You can find Anmor Accessories at Antwerpsestraat 81 in Lier.
