Bernd Brandt, who had Otto beaten up, appears at the Fürstenhof. He wants to show that he has good intentions and pays back Otto’s debts. Otto is impressed and since he needs an investor quickly, he asks Bernd to join him in the project. Valentina is not happy about this and an argument arises. Markus sees the cufflink and suddenly becomes dizzy. Leander examines him and thinks he should go to the hospital for further examination.

Eleni worries when Valentina doesn’t come home. She talks about this with Leander, who finds a message on his mobile phone. Together they go to Werner and Robert. The next morning they receive a letter demanding a ransom. Hildegard wants to go to the school reunion with Alfons, but Alfons is not sure whether he can leave Theo alone in the hotel after two days. Nicole waits in vain for a response to her last email.

Werner and Robert approach Christoph in the hope of collecting the ransom. Christoph wants to help, but also thinks they should inform the police. Kidnapper Bernd learns from an unsuspecting Otto that Werner and Robert are actually considering this. Eleni worries about Valentina and seeks comfort from Leander. Julian feels hurt. Michael admits to Erik that he has feelings for Nicole. He wants to tell her that he is sending her the anonymous emails.

When Otto becomes emotional and swears he loves Valentina, Werner and Robert believe he is not the kidnapper. Otto himself begins to suspect that Bernd is behind the kidnapping and decides to follow him. Valentina is now afraid that her final hour has come. Markus is back from Frankfurt and tells Eleni that everything went normally during his visit to Schwarzbach AG. But then Alexandra gets a call from head office. She is told that Markus has caused a scandal there.
Friday May 10, 2024 – episode 4100
Valentina manages to keep Bernd at bay with a gun until help arrives. When she later hears that Otto is out of danger, she is relieved. She is visibly impressed that he put himself in danger to save her. When Noah visits her, she realizes that she has fallen in love with Otto. Eleni is worried about what is going on with her father. She turns to Leander because she fears that Markus has psychological problems. Theo wants to score points with Lale and prove to her that he is down-to-earth and reliable.
