AUBURN, Ala. – Coming off another hard-fought weekend in the Southeastern Conference, Auburn (16-11) completes its season series vs. UAB (12-15) Tuesday at 5 pm CT at Regions Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
“It’s time to put the head down and get better,” head coach Butch Thompson said. “Let’s redefine what we’re doing, circle the wagons and do this together. Let’s be ready to play in Birmingham tomorrow night. That’s probably the biggest thing we can do.
“Sometimes when you go through tough stretches the first thing you lose is your identity,” head coach Butch Thompson said. “We’re all going to come together and do this collectively.”
The game will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on Wings 94.3 FM. It will also be streamed digitally on ESPN+

Auburn is 6-0 in midweek games and is outscoring the opponent 50-15.
The Tigers have turned in a 2.42 ERA in midweek games and haven’t allowed more than four runs.
Auburn enters the week one of four teams in the country, including two Power Five programs, with at least 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases – Campbell, North Carolina, USC Upstate.
Ike Irish (43) and Cooper McMurray (40) rank 2nd and T-4th in the SEC, respectively, in RBI.
They are the only pair of teammates in the league and one of three pair of team teammates nationally with 40+ RBI apiece.
The duo is hitting a combined .538 (21-for-39) with 15 runs, 21 hits, three doubles, seven homers and 26 RBI in the last five games.
Christian Herberholz is 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 9.2 innings as a starter this season.
After this week, 12 of the team’s last 15 games will have come against top-10 opponents.
Auburn leads the all-time series against UAB 55-12, including 21-9 in games against the Blazers away from home.
Including a 7-2 win on Feb. 20, the Tigers have won 10 of the 13 matchups against UAB under head coach Butch Thompson.
