Antwerp

Every weekday our reporter and photographer pick a random passerby from the street for a nice conversation. Because everyone has a story. And certainly in Antwerp. Today: Aidan Dumont (20).

“This is my first week in Antwerp. I don’t really have an opinion about this city yet, except that I really like it here so far and that it is also a lot quieter here than in Brussels, where I lived until recently. It is also much cheaper here.”

“I just got back from a solo trip through Australia. I traveled around the country alone for two months. That was very fun and you learn a lot about yourself during such a trip. Spread your wingsboth mentally and physically.”

“My great passions are travelling, food and skating. I am very interested in world cuisines and want to taste everything. I studied photography in high school and now I have just completed my first year of architecture at university. Then I started traveling. I would like to resume my studies within a year or two.”

“Later on I see myself just enjoying life and doing what I like. If I feel like making music or art tomorrow, I want to be able to do that. I’m not a difficult person. Everyone should enjoy life and do what they want.”
