The parachutist (born 2002) was taken to hospital. There would have been no danger to life. The other soldier involved escaped without any serious injuries.

The accident happened at the airport near Diest, where, in addition to the Belgian army, the Dutch army also trains. After a jump, two parachutes became entangled.
