Elie and Bram took their toolbox under their arms and went to the Parochial Center in Lindestraat for a repair café for the benefit of the Parochial activities. On Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a repair café was organized where everyone could go to have numerous objects repaired.

Initiator Maria Dewolf tells more about it. “We do not really charge a fee for repairing the objects. Anyone who wishes can have a nice drink at the bar while waiting, which will then raise the necessary money for the benefit of the Parochial activities.” In the meantime, Bram and Elie had already repaired a few things, such as a site lamp, an amplifier and a kitchen robot. They ensured that some objects were given a second life and therefore a little less waste ended up on the immense waste mountain
