LOOK. Drug baron Flor Bressers was extradited to our country in October 2022

The drug baron is currently in prison in our country awaiting the Kryva Rochem trial in Bruges. Bressers, his wife and their son were arrested in a luxurious apartment in Zurich in February 2022.

The Swiss and Belgian federal police jointly investigated Bressers’ involvement in the import of tons of cocaine from South America to Europe. The investigation showed that the couple lavished millions during their two years in Zurich. They spent around €2.5 million on luxury apartments and hotels, bought €684,000 worth of jewelry and watches and €400,000 worth of wine.

The top criminal tried to fight his extradition from Switzerland to Belgium, but without success. In October 2022, the authorities transferred him to our country.

The Swiss State Secretariat for Migration announced on Wednesday that the drug lord will no longer have access to Switzerland and Liechtenstein until February 4, 2044. If he does not comply with this, he risks a prison sentence of one year or a fine. He can still appeal against this decision.
