Since then, NewB has been serving the French-speaking market for vdk bank as an independent remote agency. With success, says vdk. “NewB customers increasingly see vdk bank as their home banker. Not only is the volume increasing, current accounts are also being used more actively. Since the takeover, the number of transactions on current accounts has increased by approximately half. The number of loans applied for also increased by half. Vdk bank has become known in French-speaking Belgium. For example, today one in three customers who become a digital customer at vdk bank comes from Brussels or Wallonia,” says CEO Leen Leen Van den Neste.
To further strengthen this position, vdk bank will now also open physical offices in Brussels and Wallonia.
