And rightly so, Tesla is one big bubble in terms of value. I don’t know if it’s still worth more than the entire car industry combined, but it certainly was. It was literally worth more than every car company combined, at least if you believe the share price.

Of course, the value is more than just turnover/profit, but potential is also important, but even though the share was bizarre at the time, it is now even more backward, because it is now clear that Tesla will not become that big. Combination of poorly finished cars, the necessary problems, criticism of Musk (and his role is definitely an important one in the value of the share) and the fact that every brand is working on electric cars, Tesla’s position is simply anything but impressive, and is the company absolutely not worth that much, that value should simply be reduced to one-tenth of what it is now worth, if not more, because then they arrive at a value that is normal for a car brand.

So yes, as soon as that bubble pops, things will go horribly fast. Add to that Musk’s behavior, and Tesla is simply a very risky stock.
