Hayen and Club for double glory?
In contrast to Antwerp, Club Brugge is in the right flow. Even after the first defeat under Nicky Hayen, it seems to be all roses and moonshine in Bruges. Club lost a narrow 3-2 to Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the Conference League, which means that the return in Jan Breydel is certainly not unattainable for Club.
Although Hayen now has to gamble on two horses. Will he rotate? Blauw-Zwart is leading the competition together with Anderlecht after an impressive 16 out of 18, every point counts in the title battle. With the Brussels derby looming between Union and Anderlecht, Club could well become the winner of the weekend with a three-pointer at the Bosuil.
