Brick manufacturer Vandersanden opens a phygital showroom in the heart of Antwerp. Thanks to RFID technology, the stone chosen by the visitor is immediately digitally projected on large screens with 3D visualizations, so that the stone can immediately be seen in its intended application.
The new showroom offers seamless integration of advanced digital technologies with tangible products such as facing bricks, facade systems and clay pavers. Visitors are thus able to choose products that perfectly match their personal style and specific sustainability wishes.
When exploring the physical stenothery, visitors can view the textures and colors of facing bricks, clay pavers, ECO brick slips and also the CO2-negative facing brick Pirrouet. Thanks to RFID technology, the chosen stone is immediately digitally projected onto large screens, allowing the stone to be immediately seen in its intended application. The hyper-realistic texture, size and bond of both the facing brick and the clay paver are projected directly onto a desired home type and driveway, and you can even play with lighting and sun position. The clay pavers appear on a screen on the ground, creating an extremely realistic image of the actual situation.
