On the third season of Heartstopper it will still have to wait a while. Yet Netflix is ​​already busy advertising. Today the streaming service officially announced that Bridgertonactor Jonathan Bailey will indeed have a small role in the new season. In addition, Netflix announced two other newcomers.

What has been known for some time has now been officially confirmed. Netflix has released the first images of actor Jonathan Bailey as Jack Maddox Heartstopper shared. A photo of the actor on the set of the popular series appeared a few months ago, but confirmation had to wait until today.

Heartstopper

In the second season we saw how Joe and Nick’s relationship becomes more and more serious, but also comes under pressure. In addition, Joe is once again faced with difficulties surrounding food. The other characters also go through a lot. For example, besties Elle (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao) notice that they actually feel more for each other than just friendship and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) has questions about his own sexuality.

In the third season of Heartstopperwhich was announced shortly after the release of the first season, we will continue to follow the characters we already know, but we will also be introduced to some new faces.

New faces

The recording of the third season has been over for a while now, but we still have to wait until October before the episodes will also appear on Netflix.

To make the wait a little more bearable, the streaming service has already released a sneak peek. A first short video was just shared and three new cast members were announced. This mainly concerns Jonathan Bailey as Jack Maddox, Charlie’s celebrity crush. But also Hayley Atwell (Mission Impossible, Captain America) makes her appearance as Nick’s aunt Diane. The role of Charlie’s psychologist Geoff goes to Eddie Marsan (Back to Black).
