LinkedIn is testing a new TikTok-like service with short videos. The network platform, on which people can post their CV, confirmed this to news site Techcrunch. LinkedIn thus joins many other social media that have also introduced such a video feed following the success of TikTok, including Instagram and YouTube.

LinkedIn’s service is similar to that of the other apps, with the big difference that LinkedIn’s videos must be clearly intended for career steps and business-related themes. According to the Microsoft-owned platform, people should be able to use the footage to learn from professionals and experts in a particular field.

Although it has been possible to post videos to LinkedIn for some time, the new feed is specially designed for quickly scrolling through bite-sized short videos. The new service is still in an early testing phase. So most people don’t have access to it yet. It is not yet known when the service will become more widely available.
