During the Belgian promises race Arden Challenge in the province of Luxembourg, a horse suddenly came onto the road. The animal followed the peloton and Lars Daniels also saw this. The 23-year-old rider of Antwerp Cycling Team Kontich was able to control the animal single-handedly and grab it by the reins. View the images from the trailer below.

There was appreciation for the young rider in the support car. “He knows exactly something about it. Congratulations to that boy,” he said.

In any case, it reminds us of last year’s Strade Bianche Donne. Also then, a horse came full speed ahead on one of the gravel roads and the animal quickly walked in front of the escaped Demi Vollering. Unlike the Belgian rider, the Dutch rider screamed in an attempt to chase it away.
