Tens of thousands of students will take the so-called ‘Flemish test’ for the first time in the coming weeks. The results should make it possible to compare schools with each other. However, the Flemish Schools Association warns that the introduction of the test can lead to more stress among young people. “The lamest argument that has been passed in recent years,” writes investigative journalist Jeroen Bossaert. “If avoiding stress should be a goal of education, then we would be better off closing schools.”
