The Formula 1 circus traveled to Miami this weekend and that means a lot of glitz and glamor in the American seaside resort. Many well-known stars can be found in Florida this weekend to attend the Formula 1 party. Yet it is a very exclusive party, because photos of prizes that give a horse the hiccups are circulating on social media.
The third edition of the Miami Grand Prix will be held this weekend. The Formula 1 spectacle in Florida should be the equivalent of Monaco, but in the United States. Formula 1 also races in Texas at the Circuit of The Americas, which is slightly more accessible for regular fans. The third race in the country is organized in Las Vegas and that event also had to be attended with a well-filled wallet last year.

Exorbitant prices
Last year, several fans took photos of the prize lists hanging around the Hard Rock Stadium and this year is no different. An ‘F1 dish’ containing, among other things, a secret sauce costs $290. A steamed bun topped with Korean barbecue shiitake is a ‘cheap’ alternative for $120. Also, caviar can be added to any menu selection for just $400.
