In the afternoon and evening there is a chance of heavy showers with locally abundant precipitation in a short period of time.

During the course of the day, a depression will move from south to north across our province.
North of the core are the warm air masses in which temperatures above 20°C are feasible. South of it it quickly becomes about 5 degrees cooler. For example, around 1:40 PM we see that it is 16.5 to 17°C in the south of the province, while the temperature in the north still fluctuates around 21.5°C.

Some local showers may appear during the afternoon. During the first part of the evening it will rain heavily in many places. Intense thunderstorms can produce large amounts of precipitation in just a few hours. Various weather models calculate precipitation amounts that can amount to more than 50 liters per square meter. The latest calculations even include local outliers of up to 80 liters per square meter by Friday morning. Most precipitation can be expected between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., although there is always a margin of several hours on these calculations in these types of conditions.

The wind comes from the southwest and becomes moderate in force. During the showers there can be a gust of wind of up to 50 km/h, but in general no unusual effects are expected from the wind.

It may continue to rain for a long time tonight. However, the heaviest rainfall is now behind us.
