Surprise in Virton last Saturday. The circumstances forced the goalkeeper coach to put on the gloves and take a seat between the posts. Small detail: this goalkeeper coach has 8 caps with the Red Devils and more than 60 Bundesliga matches to his name.
Because this goalkeeper coach is… Logan Bailey (38 years). The former goalkeeper of Genk, OH Leuven, Borussia Mönchengladbach, among others, played for the first time since March 2024 and his last substitute appearance as a player at UR Namur.
Released by Union Saint-Gilloise in April 2023, Bailly found a job in Gaume in August and his work at Excelsior Virton is highly appreciated.
