During a glittering award show in De Hoorn in Leuven, Lowie Vercraeye, co-founder of BRAUZZ, was named the Flemish-Brabant Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2024. The event, organized by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Leuven and Brussels, annually deploys young entrepreneurs the spotlights that embody remarkable sustainable entrepreneurship.

Lowie Vercraeye, together with co-founders Manush Barvar and Ruben Renaer, has founded a company with BRAUZZ that focuses on sustainable cleaning products. Their products are free from single-use plastic, biodegradable and efficient in use, making them a conscious choice for both consumers and the environment.

Driven by his passion for sustainability and innovation, Lowie studied at Antwerp Management School, where he met his co-founders during their master’s degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Together they have built BRAUZZ into a company that not only supplies products, but also has a positive impact on society.

“Not only striving for business success, but also for a world of positive change – that is the core of our work at BRAUZZ. This recognition as a Flemish Brabant Young Entrepreneur is a confirmation of our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Together with my fellow founders, I am committed to continuing our mission and making a difference for generations to come.”
