Leandro Trossard was completely lost at times against England. Yet he seems a certainty heading into the European Championships in Germany.
Love it or hate it, that certainly applies to Leandro Trossard’s performance at the Red Devils. At times he seemed completely lost, but he did deliver the perfect pass to Tielemans who served Lukaku at that stage and scored with the header to make it 1-2.
Transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri makes it clear what he thinks on X, formerly Twitter. It is not known whether he is a big fan of Trossard, but his conclusion after the match against England is very clear.
“One of the big losers of this international break is of course Leandro Trossard,” he said. “Embarrassed, uncomfortable, we have the impression that he is not finding his place in Tedesco’s system. To follow up, but really disappointing.”
Yet Trossard seems to be one of the certainties for the Red Devils’ starting team heading into this summer’s European Championship in Germany. National coach Domenico Tedesco also spoke very positively about Trossard in the run-up to the match against England.
