This afternoon will be changeable with alternating clear spells and (March) showers. In the southwestern part of the country it will remain largely dry, with more clear spells and possibly some showers in the evening. The maximum temperatures are between 4 and 8 degrees in the Ardennes and between 8 and 10 degrees elsewhere in the country, the RMI reports. On the coast, gusts of wind reach speeds of up to 60 to 70 kilometers per hour.

LOOK. “We will have changeable weather on Sunday, but also sunny periods,” weatherman David Dehenauw said yesterday:

This evening There are still temporary March showers in some regions, especially in the Ardennes and the regions near the French border. Later it will be dry with broad clear spells, with possible low clouds, mist and fog during the night. The minimums are between 0 and -2 degrees south of Sambre and Meuse and between 0 and 3 degrees elsewhere. You have to watch out for local frost on the ground.

Monday The day starts gray in several regions with low clouds and local fog. Later we get an alternation of cloud fields and clear spells. Towards the late afternoon the clouds become wider, but high cloud fields increasingly veil the sun. The maximum temperatures are between about 8 degrees in the High Fens and 11 to 12 degrees in Flanders. The wind from south to southeast will gradually become moderate.

High and medium clouds will increase during the night from Monday to Tuesday. By morning there may be some light rain in the west of the country and along the French border. The minimums are between 1 and 3 degrees in the Ardennes and the northeast of the country, and between 3 and 6 degrees elsewhere.

Tuesday morning there are still some clear spells, especially in the northeast of the country. But it quickly becomes heavily cloudy everywhere, with periods of (light) rain from the French border. It also continues to rain almost all night. The maximum temperatures are around 10 or 11 degrees at the Ardennes heights, around 12 degrees at the sea and between 13 and 16 degrees in the other regions.

Wednesday morning It is dry in most places with cloud fields and clear spells, but clouds increase again from the west. It will rain (lightly) in the western half of the country during the afternoon. It may still remain dry in the east. The maximum temperatures are between 7 degrees in the Ardennes and 11 or 12 degrees in Flanders. The wind is blowing moderately and temporarily moderate to quite strong, from the south.
