Kate, officially Princess Catherine and also known by her maiden name, Middleton, is currently staying in remote Norfolk to recover in peace. She is currently undergoing preventive chemotherapy after cancer was discovered during abdominal surgery.
Although she is currently seeking shelter out of the public eye, palace officials confirm that Kate has no plans to sit back and relax. “She plans to perform public duties as her treatment allows,” said Ailsa Anderson, a former spokesperson for Queen Elizabeth. “Just like Charles, she will return to work sporadically during her recovery period. That decision will very much depend on how she feels and the doctor’s advice.”
