LtdThere was a lot of love in the air during Camille’s concerts at the Sportpaleis this weekend. In addition to an endearing expression of love to friend and tour manager Dino, Camille also thanked her parents extensively for all the support. How did the parents and Dino experience the baptism of fire of Flanders’ pop princess in the Sportpaleis? Dino and Camille’s parents now respond exclusively to our newspaper.

The artist clearly praised her parents: “Mom is my biggest fans and my parents have always supported me and believed in my dream. Thank you,” said the voice on stage and “My parents have always supported me and made me believe in my dreams, even when I thought it was too difficult.” Backstage, mom and dad reacted emotionally: “It was incredibly moving for us to see our little Camille beaming so much on stage. We have known since we were little that this is what she dreamed of and that that dream has now become reality is the best thing that could have happened to us.”
Dino, Camille’s tour manager and partner, was also beaming because his girlfriend shouted in front of a packed Sportpaleis: ‘I hope you hear this, Dino, but I love you so much!’ After the show he proudly wrote: “I am so incredibly proud of Camille. What she has done in recent weeks is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen her do. I will definitely spoil her in the coming days. And Camille, I love you too!”
Camille has completed four Sportpaleis concerts this weekend. But the ‘Magic’ train rumbles on and stops at the coast. This summer she will perform in the Kursaal of Ostend on July 20 and 21, and August 17 and 18. You can buy tickets here.
