Several people were injured in central London on Wednesday after five military horses from the Household Cavalry broke free. They went on a rampage as they left Hyde Park Barracks for an exercise. Four people, including three soldiers, were injured. The same day there was another incident involving military horses: a soldier was injured when his horse reared up and threw him to the ground.

The second incident happened during the King’s Guard parade at Buckingham Palace. According to witnesses, the horses were very restless. A cameraman from London City Walks filmed the event: “What’s going on with the horses today. They calm down less quickly than usual. What’s going on here?”

Moments later a rider shot out of his saddle. That happened in front of many tourists. According to the City Walks cameraman, the rider was “unconscious” after landing on the ground. He received medical attention very quickly.
