There is no longer anything to win or lose for OH Leuven and Standard in the Europe Play-offs. Who can give their season some color?
KAA Gent has won the final win in the Europe Play-offs since Saturday, the rest of the matches will be upgraded practice matches. This also applies to OH Leuven-Standard, a competition that no longer matters.
A win would be nice for both teams. OH Leuven suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat against KV Mechelen last week, before drawing against STVV. So you can win again.
Will Standard win again after almost two months?
This certainly also applies to Standard. The Rouches started the Europe Play-offs with a heavy 5-1 defeat and then drew no fewer than five times in a row. Leko and co want to win again against OH Leuven.
Standard’s last victory dates back to March 16, when it ended the regular competition at home with a clear 4-0 win against Eupen. If only to end the season on a nice note.
In the first leg it remained 0-0 at Sclessin. In the last six confrontations between OHL and Standard, the Leuven team won three times, Standard won twice last season. But it will not be easy for the Rouches to win again.
