When is Apple’s iPad event?
Apple’s May 2024 event kicks off on May 7 at 4:00 PM Dutch time. The event is called Let Loose and Apple will make several new iPad announcements during it. The presentation has been recorded in advance and will be livestreamed via YouTube and the Apple TV app, among others. The live stream can be found above, via the YouTube video on Apple’s own YouTube channel.
There are countless ways to follow the live stream of the Apple event yourself: via your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and more. Of course you can also follow everything without watching live. But we expect that this time the event will be different than what you are used to from Apple. The timing and time are special anyway: Apple normally never holds an event in May and if there is an event, it is always at 7:00 PM Dutch time. Apple itself also speaks of a “different kind of Apple Event”. What exactly this means is still a mystery. Apple may have a different format for the video, where the announcements are not so much made by Apple executives, but more by real iPad users.
