The 0-0 draw between RSC Anderlecht and Royal Union SG was a bad thing for both teams. Due to the division of points, Club Brugge took the lead in these Champions’ Play-Offs. Ludwig Augustinsson thinks it’s time to put things in order.
Anderlecht’s wing defender looked back The newspapaer back to the match against Union last weekend. “It was a great match with many duels and fights for the ball. There was a lot of aggressiveness. We knew in advance that it would be an intense match, but of course we wanted to win.”
To fight
Anderlecht will face KRC Genk next Saturday, while Club Brugge will face Union at home. Blauw-Zwart is currently two points ahead of Anderlecht and three ahead of the Unionists. The Purple & White must win if they want to continue dreaming of the national title.
“Bruges are now two points ahead of us. It will be a fight to the end. Now it is time to recover and look forward to the next match,” Augustinsson once again put his team on edge.
However, the question remains whether Union, which is still in the running for the national title, will be ready in time for the match against Club Brugge. The people of Brussels will take on Antwerp in the cup final on Thursday and that promises to be a razor-sharp match. Fortunately, the match against Club Brugge will not take place until next Monday.
