‘Supporter leaves: Anderlecht goes for 20 million’

The defender is a pedigree of Anderlecht. When he was barely seven years old, he already joined the record champion and subsequently went through all the youth series. The youngster made such an impression in his defensive role that he was allowed to sign his first professional contract at the age of 16. A year later he also made his debut with the first team. A year ago he decided to remain loyal to Anderlecht, but now it really seems time to embark on an adventure abroad. And there is certainly no shortage of interest in Debast. For example, last month it was announced that Sporting CP, the intended national champion of Portugal, is emphatically pulling at the Red Devil’s sleeve.

Negotiations on hold
