Youtuber Average Rob has found a new challenge: after his Ironman and the Turbocross, he is now starting the ’69 Turbo Challenge’. To improve his basic fitness, he will exercise at least 30 minutes per day for 69 days. You can take on the challenge via Strava.

Staying fit as a new father is not easy. Average Rob experiences this firsthand. The Marathon des Sables is already on his schedule next year, but the Youtuber was looking for a challenge that will require him to exercise consistently now.

Rob sees the ’69 Turbo Challenge’ as the ideal way to improve his basic fitness again. “I have enjoyed life well in recent months,” Rob laughs.

Why 69 days? “I was looking for a challenge that is long enough. 420 days is too long and the other iconic number 69 is just right. The last day of the challenge is also July 1. So it is ideal to be fit when summer begins.”

Average Rob hopes his challenge will also encourage other people to exercise every day. And that seems to work. More than 61,000 people have already registered for his Strava challenge.

That scares Average Rob himself. “It’s nice to see that so many people are participating.”
