Leandro Trossard and Arsenal can continue to dream of the Premier League title after a 3-0 home win against Bournemouth. Just before half time, Bukayo Saka had opened the score from the spot, but twenty minutes before the whistle, Trossard, who had started in the starting line-up, closed the books completely. Declan Rice tapped the ball to our compatriot, who did not hesitate and pushed the ball into the far corner in no time. Trossard put Arsenal on the way to the important three-point goal in the title race. In added time, Rice makes it 3-0.

For Trossard, who is now a regular starter at Arsenal, it was already his fourth goal in his last six league games. National coach Domenico Tedesco will like to see it happen.

City easily beat Wolverhampton thanks to Haaland’s four-hit winner

Arsenal’s major title rival, Manchester City, also recorded an easy victory. The reigning national champions defeated Wolverhampton 5-1 on matchday 36 and thus continue in the wake of leader Arsenal.

Erling Haaland was the big star at City with four goals. He did not need assists from pivot Kevin De Bruyne, who started in the starting line-up, to find his way to the goal. The Norwegian striker instead scored twice from eleven meters after penalty violations by the visitors. In between he scored on a pass from midfielder Rodri. After the break, Haaland continued his momentum. He scored his fourth of the evening on a pass from Phil Foden. In the end, Julian Alvarez gave City a fifth goal, while Hwang Hee-Chan gave Wolverhampton an honor saver.
