Anderlecht is excited about the Play-Offs. The record champion finally had an excellent regular competition and can actually aim for a new national title. To do this, it first had to venture on very thin ice.

‘Record champion hunts for the highest’

At the start of the Play-Offs, the Purple & White are ‘barely’ three points behind leader Union (although that is actually four since Riemer’s team received half a point extra at the halving). A new national title is anything but a utopia for Anderlecht.

The victory over Jan Breydel a few weeks ago proves that the team is really aiming for the very highest. In the end, an eager Purple & White went up and over Club Brugge and this was (possibly) partly due to a very special team building.

‘The atmosphere is very good’

In the latest episode of Mauve, the program around Anderlecht op Play SportsAfter all, team building on the ice in Zemst is clearly visible.

There, the record champion took part in a game of curling, which was said to have been organized by Jan Vertonghen. “There is no better way to break the ice,” is one of the words. Watch a nice preview below:
