OH Leuven has once again handed Standard a defeat. The Rouches took the lead, but the home team went all out in the second half.

There was little to gain for OH Leuven and Standard in these Europe Play-offs, except to end the season well. OHL and Standard could use another win.

OH Leuven in particular created the best chances in the first half. Standard goalkeeper Epolo had to prevent a deficit with a double save after ten minutes. Standard itself played without inspiration.

Yet the Rouches took the lead just before half-time. Russo and Schingtienne did not attack a long ball, Yeboah was able to easily pick it up and put it in. The Rouches were ahead by a thief.

OHL corrects a crooked situation against Standard

OH Leuven quickly put things in order after the break, Maziz curled a free kick over the wall. The home team then took more control of the match, fifteen minutes before the end, Nsingi scored the 2-1 beautifully. Thorsteinsson made it 3-2 in injury time.

After a draw and a defeat, OHL was able to win again. Standard lost again after five draws in a row, it could not yet win in these play-offs and remains penultimate in the Europe play-offs.
