This year Chiro Klinker celebrates its seventieth anniversary. To celebrate this, the Hoboken association organizes the Klinkerfest. There are numerous festive activities this weekend in the parking lot of the Moretu parish center at Berkenrodelei 32.

“We started with a vowel show in which all members worked together to create a fun spectacle. This was followed by a word from the mayor and the very first leader of Chiro Klinker was also present,” says group leader Selin Arslan. There was also peripheral entertainment on site: bouncy castles, make-up and an exhibition with photos from the past seventy years.

“We have been looking forward to it very much and are happy that we can now experience and even organize this. Seventy years of Chiro Klinker, that’s crazy. We are a relatively small association, but despite that we are very enthusiastic to organize a great activity every Sunday,” concludes group leader Hanneke Desaeger.

On Friday there was an evening walk with search and live music. The big party followed on Saturday with numerous activities and different DJs.
