UPDATEA 34-year-old man was killed in Antwerp in the early morning on Sunday. This happened in an apartment of the Center for Integrated Family Care (CIG) De Stobbe in Julius De Geyterstraat. The victim’s partner, a 32-year-old woman, was arrested by police.
The facts took place early in the morning. “A fatal stabbing occurred,” confirms Kristof Aerts of the public prosecutor’s office in Antwerp. “The victim is a 34-year-old man. The 32-year-old woman was arrested after the facts. The facts fit into the family atmosphere.” More details are currently lacking. There is said to be a stab in the throat that was inflicted after the two had an argument. The suspect who has been arrested is a mother of five children from different fathers. The victim is the father of one of the children. Two children were said to have been present in the apartment at the time of the incident.
CIG, Center for Integrated Family Care, is an organization that guides families with young children in difficult parenting situations.
No one in the neighborhood seems to know the family, but they react in disbelief to what happened in the building with the CIG apartments. The laboratory is on site for the necessary trace research.
