KORTRIJK, BRUGES – Who will win the elections is still an open question today. What is certain is that two West Flemish companies, INNI from Heule and Vanden Broele from Bruges, are already the winners of the elections. After all: the printing work – a huge assignment on behalf of the government – passes through their hands. Typical West Flemish entrepreneurship based on quality.

INNI is a traditional supplier of election printing materials. This time, however, for the first time, a collaboration is being entered into with Vanden Broele from Bruges. Originally, both UGA (the former name of INNI) and Vanden Broele were administrative printers that had a certain expertise in helping to organize the elections.

“By now combining that expertise and experience, we will serve more than 70% of the market (Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia), with sales being led by Vanden Broele and production and logistics taking place within INNI,” says CEO and managing director. director Tom Deschildre of INNI. “We have now added a tent in our parking lot as additional workspace. Given the specific mix of legal knowledge, printing and IT and the fact that this only happens every x years, there are only a very limited number of providers with the necessary knowledge. “

Impressive numbers

What the West Flemish tandem delivers is already impressive. A few figures in a row illustrate this abundantly.

  • More than 1000 regular voting booths
  • More than 1000 voting booths for disabled people
  • More than 10,000 dial pencils
  • More than 10,000 packages for polling stations and counting stations with forms, envelopes and office materials
  • Just under 3,000,000 summoning cards
  • 7,850,000 ballots

“We also take care of the Operation Belgians Abroad for 5 provinces,” says Tom Deschildre. “There is also very intensive collaboration within West Flanders with Waak, ‘t Veer and Tordale to have everything ready on time.”
