Photographer and entrepreneur Marc Sourbron died in Bilzen last weekend after a short but serious illness. A professional who was well-liked in business circles and was known for his warm and jovial personality.

Marc Sourbron was a photographer who was at home in all markets. He took photos for advertising agencies, media and companies from various sectors. He managed to capture buildings (interior and exterior), people, food, products and industrial environments in the right way with great feeling. One of his specialties was aerial photography, long before there were images taken with drones. In 2015 he was awarded the Archifocus Award for a photo series about the Vroenhoven Bridge.

In addition to his craftsmanship, Marc was mainly known for his warm personality. An always jovial guy, who valued customer service highly. Even during his short illness, he wanted to continue serving his customers out of loyalty.

The farewell ceremony will take place on Saturday at 10:30 am in the auditorium of Funerarium Mathei in Bilzen. We wish his wife, family and friends a lot of strength in this enormous loss.
