One person was killed and three people were seriously injured in a shooting in Sevran, a suburb of the French capital Paris. The Bobigny public prosecutor’s office announced this.
The shooting occurred Friday evening around 11:45 p.m. When police arrived on the scene, four people were lying on the ground with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, one of the four injured people died on the spot. The three other injured people have been taken to hospital. They are in mortal danger.
Police say that during the night three other people were admitted with gunshot wounds to the hospital in Aulnay-sous-Bois, a neighboring municipality of Sevran.
According to the French public prosecutor’s office, an investigation has been opened into murder and attempted murder. No suspects have been arrested yet.
