Antwerp can welcome the first edition of the Antwerp Hat Stroll to the city center. A unique walking event that brings together hat lovers from all over the world. On April 7, 2024, participants of different ages and backgrounds will gather at the historic Groenplaats to welcome spring together, dressed in their most impressive headgear.

The Antwerp Hat Stroll is a celebration of individuality and community spirit. Whether you prefer classic elegance or wild flamboyance, this walk provides the perfect opportunity to share your love of hats with like-minded people.
The walk, which covers a route of 1.8 km through the heart of Antwerp, promises a pleasant get-together where speed or distance is of secondary importance. It’s all about admiring each other’s hats, having fun and making new friends.
Worldwide phenomenon now also in the city
The Antwerp Hat Stroll is part of a larger initiative embraced worldwide, with simultaneous walks in London and 16 other locations, inspired by the 20th edition of the Barcelona Hat Stroll. This emphasizes the worldwide love of hat lovers and the shared passion for this unique accessory.
The meeting starts at 2:30 PM on the Groenplaats near the statue of Rubens, where participants can gather for photos and instructions. The walk ends festively around 4:00 PM on the square in front of the Museum aan de Stroom (MAS), where the first Antwerp Hat Walk will be celebrated.
