The first week of the Easter holidays has been a gloomy period for the time being, but improvements are on the way: the mercury could even reach 24 degrees on Saturday. The RMI reports this.

Wednesday The day starts gray with rain. During the afternoon it will become partly cloudy with clear spells, but showers will also follow. We achieve maximums of 10 to 12 degrees in Upper Belgium, and 12 to 15 degrees in Lower and Central Belgium. The wind is strong in the west of the country, and quite strong at sea. Gusts of between 50 and 60 kilometers per hour are possible.
Thursday it is often cloudy with periods of rain or fairly frequent showers. Some thunderclaps are possible locally. It will be largely dry at the end of the afternoon. The maximum temperatures are between 12 degrees at the Ardennes heights and 16 degrees in the center of the country with a fairly strong wind. We expect gusts of 70 to 80 kilometers per hour.
Friday there is some rain, especially in the western half of the country. Elsewhere it is dry with quite a lot of high clouds. The maximum temperatures fluctuate between 15 and 18 degrees. The wind is moderate to quite strong inland, and often quite strong at sea.

Weekend
Saturday it is warm and sunny with high clouds. During the day, medium clouds will move in over the west. The maximum temperatures fluctuate between 20 and 24 degrees with moderate to locally quite strong winds.
Sunday we expect some showers or periods of rain. We achieve maximum temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees with a noticeable wind.
Start next week we expect rain at intervals from France. The maximum temperatures fluctuate around 14 or 15 degrees in Lower and Central Belgium.
