The couples in ‘Stranded on Honeymoon Island’ not only have to try to survive, they also have to maintain their marriage and the latter proves to be the most difficult. A relationship therapist comes to visit and Josephine-Charlotte honestly admits why she cannot open up to Sidi.
The newlyweds have been staying on the uninhabited islands for a while now. Relationship therapist Meriam comes to burst that bubble for a chat with the lovebirds. These conversations prove to be useful, because Josephine-Charlotte finally dares to admit why she still keeps the necessary distance from her new hubbie Sidi. Although she is a bit ashamed to say that.
Appearance
“It’s a stupid thing to say, because it’s all about appearance,” says JC. She is tall herself and therefore wants a tall man. Unfortunately, Sidi, with his height of 1.80 m, does not meet that requirement. “That height difference is in my head,” she admits with tears in her eyes. ‘It gives me a safe feeling knowing that my husband is bigger.’
Sidi initially takes it well and jokes that from now on he will also have to wear heels. But of course this news doesn’t really make him happy. “It sucks to hear that that’s the reason she can’t open up,” he concludes. “If that’s the only problem, then you’ll have a very nice life.”
