LOOK. Klopp enthusiastic about Slot as his successor

Feyenoord and Liverpool have had good discussions about the trainer in recent days. Only the last details separate him from leaving. Liverpool hopes to complete the Dutchman’s move to England quickly. There the trainer must become Jürgen Klopp’s successor.

Slot has been at the helm of Feyenoord since the summer of 2021, which picked him up from AZ. In his first season in Rotterdam service, he immediately reached the final of the Conference League. Will a Belgian also come with Ruben Peeters?

Slot also hopes to bring some members of his current Feyenoord staff with him. In addition to assistant Sipke Hulshoff, the Dutchman would also like to give his Belgian physical coach Ruben Peeters that opportunity. Peeters has been working for Feyenoord since 2021, where he officially works head of performance is.

Previously, our compatriot – who has a Master’s degree in LO and Movement Sciences from the KULeuven, specializing in football training and coaching – worked at Racing Genk. Initially in the youth academy, then as a physical trainer of the first team.
