HBO Max launches in Belgium on July 1: prices and details announced

Warner Bros. Discovery today announced more details about the launch of HBO Max in Belgium. The new streaming service, which will start on July 1, offers a wide range of series, films and sports. The cheapest subscription form is available from 5.99 euros per month.

The launch of HBO Max in Belgium has been planned for a while, and now it’s almost time. Warner Bros. Discovery has just confirmed that the official release date of the new streaming service is Monday, July 1.

Subscribers can start a 14-day free trial as early as June 11. However, certain titles will not yet be available in Dutch during this period. The official launch with full Dutch-language content will therefore not take place until July 1.

HBO Max offers different subscription options:

• ​Basic with advertising: The cheapest subscription costs 5.99 euros per month. Users can stream on 2 devices simultaneously in Full HD resolution. This subscription formula includes advertisements.
• Standard: If you don’t want advertising, choose this formula for 9.99 euros per month. Here too you can stream on 2 devices simultaneously in Full HD resolution. You can also download content to watch offline.
• Premium: For 13.99 euros per month you can even stream on 4 devices simultaneously in Full HD or 4K resolution and with Dolby Atmos sound. You can also download content offline.
• Sports Add-On: For an extra 5 euros you get access to a lot of sports.
